Accounts Payable Overview & Processing

  • Dates: Wednesday, & Thursday, November 4 & 5
  • Time: 2:00 to 3:30 PM EST each day
  • Cost: $249

This class is ideal for those relatively new to Accounts Payable processing in Successware, as well as for experienced users looking for methods of handling the “special situations” that arise. On day one, we'll cover the basics of AP, including the use of the Payable Manager and the addition of new vendors. On day two we'll move on to more in-depth topics such as Vendor refunds, voiding payments, and more. Click HERE to register.

Setting Up & Processing Payroll

  • Dates: Tuesday, Wednesday, & Thursday, November 10, 11, & 12
  • Time: 2:00 to 3:30 PM EST each day

This three-session class offers extensive coverage of the standard setup and basic processing steps of Successware payroll for companies that are using a payroll service. The course includes coverage for the payment of hourly and salaried employees as well as the recording of commissions and other wages. If you are interested in attending this class, you should already be familiar with the creation of timecard entries in Successware and your company’s methods of accumulating wages and paying employees. Accounts Receivable Invoice Processing

In this 90-minute session, we will cover job invoicing and counter-sales. We will also discuss managing the invoice tracking features of Successware and options for entering cash receipts. Additionally, we will address features included on invoices that affect other areas of Successware, such as pay bases for piece rate payroll and “line types” for scorecard reporting. The Successware Account Register

  • Dates: Thursday, November 29

Do you need help identifying the essentials of properly processing and maintaining your register accounts? Then you should consider taking this class! The 90-minute session reviews the process of reconciling your cash box, bank, and credit card accounts, as well as making deposits of reconciled funds into your bank accounts. We will also identify the procedures to follow when deposits or reconciliations need to be reversed and edited. Other topics to be covered include the recording of insufficient funds checks, the correction of incorrect check numbers, and recording miscellaneous payments made from bank and credit card accounts. The Successware Pricebook

  • Dates: Wednesday, & Thursday, December 16 & 17

Our two-session class introduces you to the role played by the Pricebook in controlling accounting flow as well as in the creation of customer invoices, purchasing, accounts payable and more! We begin with an overview of Sale and Expense types, the “pointers” which tell Successware®21 where the items you buy and sell should post as revenue and expense in the general ledger. You will then learn to attach these “pointers” to the items in your Pricebook. Finally, we'll show you how to add parts, labor, and miscellaneous items. Click HERE to register.
